ESPN Now Offers Embedded Video For Your Website or Blog

ESPN video screenshotESPN the world’s most widely watched sports tv channel and website has now launched a video section of their site that not only plays video within the page, but also allows website owners and bloggers to link to or embed the ESPN video on their own sites and blogs.

While ESPN.com has always offered great video, typically it’s been within their own player that needs to be launched first and so far hadn’t allowed viewers to embed the flash video into their own sites ala YouTube. Well that wait is now over.

Sports fans from around the world will be happy to know they can now not only write about their favorite team or sport, but also embed high quality flash video into their own sites and blogs and show their readers highlights and even small edited segments of Sports Center.

To start embedding ESPN video now, simply visit their new beta video site.
