Most base jumpers agree that it’s just a matter of time before they’re seriously injured, but some like Jeb Corliss wanted to die and found the sport of base jumping and wingsuit flying the only reasons to live. In his case most jumpers agree that it’s only a matter of time before Jeb kills himself while others are more than willing to help him achieve his thrill seeking goals.
Is what he does selfish since he has family and risks his life whenever he jumps and continues to push the envelope or is he an athlete and it’s just a dangerous sport like any other?

I imagine he’ll never get the funding for his Vegas stunt as the chances of him dying are well above 50%, but then again people love seeing stuff like this so who knows.

I grew up mostly in Minnesota and Wisconsin as I attended grade school in St. Paul, MN and junior high and high school in Racine, WI. After graduating high school I then went on to attend college in LaCrosse, WI.
Although I was born in Minnesota and lived there and Wisconsin most of my younger years, I've also lived in quite a few other states.

Jeb is a crazy guy, but at the same time it just might work, once or a few times. I don't understand why he would keep doing it over and over again, basically until he miscalculates and dies.
