Here are some pics from my trip to Milan, Italy in May, 2009. I have to admit I wasn’t a big fan of Milan. Reminded me a lot of Soho in New York City. Lived in Soho back in the late 90′s. Also, the guys in Milan are like 12 year old boys. They gawk at girls like they’ve never seen a girl before. It’s one thing to be charming and tell a girl how pretty she is, it’s another thing to just stare, look a girl up and down, yell at her and simply act like an asshole. It really gives educated Italians a bad name. Reminded me of Jersey Shore Douche Bags.
Overall I think Milan was my least favorite city we stopped at on our trip around Europe. Found some great deals on clothes shopping and I’ll admit the Castle of Milan we visited was pretty cool. No plans for me to head back anytime soon though.
My name is Bryan Hauer and I was born on January 11, 1976 in St. Paul, MN. Although my friends liked to kid me about it I am no relation as far as I know to the actor Rutger Hauer.
I grew up mostly in Minnesota and Wisconsin as I attended grade school in St. Paul, MN and junior high and high school in Racine, WI. After graduating high school I then went on to attend college in LaCrosse, WI.
Although I was born in Minnesota and lived there and Wisconsin most of my younger years, I've also lived in quite a few other states.
